Imphal, July 18: President and general secretary of All Assam students� Union have called upon the Naga Students� Federation to reconsider its participation in the ongoing economic blockade in the State of Manipur.

In a joint press statement released today, the student leaders expressed apprehension that the age-old cordial relationships between the people of Nagaland and Manipur may be strained unless NSF review its decision and resort to alternative mode of protests instead of spear heading the agitation Nagaland.

AASU also urged both the AMSU and NSF to settle their differences, if any, across the table in the interest of the general public of the two neighbouring States.
