Imphal, January 12: The All Manipur Students' Union today announced that it has decided to stop the circulation of the The Telegraph until a decision is taken to remove the ban.

Seema Guha had reported on January 11 that "Two years ago, feelings ran high in Manipur, and the Meiteis burnt and looted the properties of Nagas living in the valley�.

Today the same paper clarified that "Meiteis in Manipur had not burnt or looted the properties of Nagas two years ago as reported in The Telegraph in Saturday's edition.

The error is regretted." AMSU appreciates all peace process.
