Imphal, June 11: The Thangalphai village chief Thangkham Misao has clarified that the individual shot dead by police commandos at near Indian Army War Cemetery, Hatta Golapati on June 8 evening was not a Thangalphai resident/villager as was reported.

Based on police report State dailies had reported that the slain KRA (U) activist, namely Lalminlen Misao (35) s/o Thangkhosei hailed from Thangalphai village.
