Imphal, June 02: The statement further said that a close associate of Lanheiba, Khoirangba is no else but Oinam Ibochou of Ningthoukhong project who is very close to the UNLF.

Tamnganba expressed surprise that the UNLF does not seem to know who is Lanheiba and added that after the KCP (MC) clarified that the bomb attack, it has started investigating into the action perpetrated by Lanheiba and his men.

Citing an example, the statement said that it has established the identity of the man who killed the woman CDPO of Moirang, Rashesori as one Kenndy from Thamnapokpi.

On the bomb blast triggered by Lanheiba at Babupara, Tamnganba said that it was not an easy job and hinted that there may be some political hand behind the blast.

Tamnganba further claimed that two days before the bomb attack, Khoirangba, a close confidante of Lanheiba came to the quarters of an MLA at Babupara.

Asking Lanheiba and his men to surrender within June 6, the outfit warned that if this is not complied with then they would be awarded the capital punishment.

The outfit also named the persons working under Lanheiba by posing as KCP (MC) cadres as Oinam Piba alias Suranjoy of Keinou, Naoba alias Lanjanba of Napet Palli, Khoiranga alias Ibochao of Ningthoukhong project canal, Chongba of Khurai, Keni of Thamnapokpi, and Khaba of Nongada.

Asserting that the Military Council is determined to eliminate Lanheiba and his men, the statement said that plans have been worked out for the same.

The outfit has also offered its salute to Warekpam Basanta, a cadre, who was killed Assam Rifles personnel on May 27 at Yairipok.

The outfit also shared the grief and pain of the family members.
