3rd Maipakpi Memorial Trophy : State Level Men's Open Football Tournament begins

Imphal, April 27 2025: The 3rd edition of Maipakpi Memorial Trophy 9-A-Side State Level Men's Open Football Tournament organised by Mangai Foundation Heirok and Maipakpi Organising Committee in association with City Club kicked off today.

The 32-team tournament organised in the league cum knock-out format was officially opened at City Club playground, Heirok Part 2, Litan Makhong this afternoon in the presence of Sapam Nishikant, MLA Keishamthong Assembly Constituency; Thangjam Arunkumar.

MLA Wangkhei Assembly Constituency; Thokchom Radheshyam, MLA Heirok Assembly Constituency; Thokchom Ibochouba, husband of Late Thokchom Maipakpi and Dr Somenkumar Laishram, Proprietor of Sur Hospital, Khangabok as presidium members.
