MC,KPC,TMC,NBC win in Inter-college football tourney

Imphal, October 25 2024: Moirang College, Kamakhya Pemton College, Thambal Marik College, and N Birahari College emerged victorious in the matches held on Friday during the A Pratap Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Football (M) Tournament 2024-25 at Kha Manipur College, Kakching.

Moirang College kicked off the day's fixtures with a decisive 3-1 win over Kumbi College, with goals from Kh Nongpoknganba (30), Rakesh (44), and Md Jahir Khan (51) .

Kumbi College's consolation goal was scored by O Danald (60) .

In the second match, Kamakhya Pemton College triumphed over Pravabati College in a penalty shootout after the teams ended regulation time tied at 1-1 .

Kamakhya Pemton won the shootout 3-1, with successful penalties from Vyas, Abungsana, and Apsajet The third match also went to penalties, where Standard College defeated Thambal Marik College.

After a 2-2 draw, Standard College secured victory in the shootout with a score of 3-2, thanks to contributions from Y Nonglemba, Md Itakhan, and Md Mujahio.

N Birahari College claimed victory against Mayai Lambi College, winning 3-1 in penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

T Rohit, M Devid, and T Brucelee successfully converted their penalties for N Birahari College.
