Tamenglong, May 24 2022: The 61St Sub-roto Cup International Inter-School Football Tournament for Tamenglong district was held on May 23 and 24 at Apollo Ground, Tamenglong district headquarters.

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Trinity Public School, Preety Lamb School and CMEHS competed in the U-17 age group.

The first semifinal match was played between Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and CMEHS wherein the Don Bosco school scored 5 goals whereas CMEHS scored 1 goal.

The second semifinal match was played between Trinity Public School and Preety Lamb School where the Trinity Public School won the match in a penalty shootout.

The final match was played between Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and Preety Lamb School where Don Bosco school won the match scoring 5 goals whereas Preety Lamb school could score only 1 goal.

Altogether 4 U-17 boys' teams represented the Tamenglong district.

Where as Don Bosco Higher Secondary School was the only team in the U-17 girls' event.

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School U-17 boys and girls will be representing the Tamenglong district for the upcoming state level tour nament in Imphal during the last week of June 2022 .
