STS congratulates Monsang trio

Imphal, July 19 2024: Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe (Monsang Naga Students' Union) on Friday congratulated Jimmy Haraotin Ngoruh Monsang, s/o late Dolen Ngoruh and Ts Sangnungsi Monsang of Japhou Bazar, Chandel, on securing first place in the men's body building masters' open category at the NPC Worldwide India Body Building and Physique Championship 2024 in Guwahati, Assam, on May 14 .

The student body also congratulated Sh Promsh-ing Monsang, s/o Sh Ginet Monsang and W Bina from Japhou village, on being appointed as head coach of Manipur's boys' team for the Sub Junior Boys' National Football Championship 2024-25, which will take place in Nagaon, Assam from July 28 to August 11, 2024.The union further expressed happiness at the selection of Goodphangam Wanglar, s/o W Koko Monsang and K Leibaklei of Liwa Sarei village, in the state squad for the Sub Junior Boys' National Football Championship.

In the meantime, it thanked District Sports Association, Chandel for its efforts and dedication in grooming youngsters to succeed in sports.

The student union wished the Monsang trio success in their future endeavours.
