Tazei Hr Sec School's 3rd Annual Sports Meet begins

Noney, February 17 2022: The 3rd Annual Sports Meet of Tazei Public Hr Sec School, Longmai-2, Noney district, commenced on Thursday at their school premises, under the motto: "Winning is not everything, but the effort to win is".

Napoleon Ruangmei, MFS, DFO Noney, Gaisuakmei Gonmei, ranger officer Noney Forest Division, and Ngakthailiu Panmei, principal TPHSS, attended the occasion as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

The chief guest during his speech highlighted the importance of education and games and sports in student life.

He also said that games and sports can build one's career and also keep one physically and mentally fit.

For more than 15 events of outdoors and indoors games competitions for boys and girls will beheld during the 3- day sports meet.

Contemporary dances and march-past were performed by four houses of the school In the opening boys' football match, blue house beat Red House by a 2-1 margin.
