SOCDEC seal Thoubal 1st Division League title

Thoubal, October 25 2024: SOCDEC (Wangjing) won the L Chandrakishwor Singh Memorial 1st Division Football League Tournament 2024-25, organised by DFA Thoubal at Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Wangjing.

In the last match of the league played on Friday, SOCDEC beat PALCY (Phundrei) by a solitary goal.

It was L Bikramjit who scored the winning goal in the 35th minute.

In the seven-team tournament, SOCDEC secured a total of 12 points in their five matches to become the champions, while KRC (Thoubal Kshetri Leikai) finished second with 10 points.

Thoubal Zilla Parishad chairperson Kh Sobha, Tentha Zilla Parishad member Kh Priyojit, Charangpat Zilla Parishad member S Japan, Heirok Zilla Parishad member M Rajmani, DFA Thoubal president M Mani, and vice-presidents K Micheal and L Shyamo were special guests of the closing ceremony.
