Jadonang Memorial Football : TFC, CYDA, SSYC advance into quarter finals

Imphal, October 23 2022: Tausaeng (TFC), Chingkhulong (CYDA) and Sairem (SSYC) posted pre-quarter final wins at SAI Ground-Takyel today in the ongoing 13th Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament being organized by Zeliangrong Football Association.

In the fourth pre-quarter final match, Kakhulong (KFC) and TFC played out a goalless draw in the regulation time and eventually the game decided via penalty shoot-out wherein TFC emerged 5-4 winners as Gaizianthui Panmei, Gaikulung Gangmei, Holyson Kamei, Tamjan Kamei and Lanchungrei Pamei found the target.

For KFA, only Agangpu Maringmei, Sangailung Kamson, Disingpou Gonmei and Ratobe N Poireng converted from the spot.

In the fifth pre-quarter final match, Joshiah Panmei (7'), Gaidimlung Gonmei (42') and Maremmei Lamthaipou (88') were on target as Chingkhulong (CYDA) prevailed 3-0 over Bitianglwang (BFC) .

In the 6th pre-quarter final match, Palmei Rambo Kabui goal for SSYC in the 18th minute was cancelled out by Ng Joel Chawang of Chingmeirong (CRYC) in the 57th minute to make it 1-1 at the end of regulation time and the winners were decided via penalty shoot-out.

In the shoot-out Pouchunlong Golmei, Palmei Milan Kabui, Palmei Heroson and Palmei Lanchalung were on target to hand SSYC a 5-4 win over CRYC whose only Levi Chawang, Lumgai Daimei and K Meihonlung Rongmei found the net.
