The 3rd MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy witnessed thrilling encounters across five venues, with teams delivering standout performances in their league matches on Sunday.
PCC unleased a ruthless 415-run defeat on LCC at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur.
Opting to bat first, PCC amassed a colossal total of 481/9 in 40 overs.
Their innings was spearheaded by a blistering knock from Lucky Thokchom, who smashed 112 runs off just 39 balls, including 17 fours and 6 sixes, at a staggering strike rate of 287.18.Captain Takhelmayum Vikash also shone with an unbeaten 90 off 39 deliveries, while Ziad Khan contributed a solid 60.The team's aggressive batting left LCC's bowlers struggling, with only Sun Thongam (Mangal) managing to take three wickets, albeit at a high economy rate of 9.38 .
In reply, LCC's batting lineup crumbled under pressure.
Mairembam Lucky Meitei was the standout bowler for PCC, claiming 4 wickets for just 17 runs in his 8 overs, while Lucky Thokchom and Ziad Khan chipped in with two wickets each.
LCC's innings folded at 66 in 22.4 overs, with only Sun Thongam (Mangal) reaching double figures (14 runs).
YWC handed out a 10-wicket thrashing to SCCC at Mojjing Public Ground, Thoubal.
SCCC were skittled out for 69 in 18.2 overs, as Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba (TAMO) wreaked havoc with 7 wickets for 15 runs.
YWC chased the target in just 9.2 overs without losing a wicket, with Nganba (38) and Sorokhaibam Thoungamba Singh (23) leading the charge.
AL-AMEEN recorded a commanding 76-run win over CYSA in their clash at Model Hr Secondary & Oriental College Ground.
AL-AMEEN posted a competitive total of 178 all out in 23.4 overs, thanks to a blistering 78 off 52 balls by Maibam Ashique, which included 14 fours and a six.
Md Duwa Aziz starred with the ball, claiming 4 wickets for just 19 runs.
In reply, CYSA, Khangabok were bowled out for 102 in 28.5 overs, with Aziz's economical spell (3.17 economy) sealing the victory.
ESU thrashed AMCA 96 runs (VJD method) at Khudelband Lampak, Taothong.
ESU set a formidable target of 205, anchored by Hanjabam Naoba Sharma's 92 off 90 balls.
Bishomcha Khundrakpam's 4-wicket haul (3.25 economy) dismantled AMCA's batting line-up, restricting them to 105 all out in 23 overs.
Moichingmayum Mohammad Anash's unbeaten 40 was the lone resistance for AMCA .
SHADOW overpowered THAU by 99 runs (VJD method) at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal.
SHADOW posted 210 all out, driven by Sagatpam Lanchenba's 98 off 76 balls.
Konthoujam Rohan Meetei's sensational 5-wicket haul for just 2 runs dismantled THAU, who were bowled out for 79 in 27.3 overs.
