State Age Group Athletic Championship gets underway

Imphal, December 03 2021: M Aiken Singh won the men's 200m race as the 41st State Age Group Athletic Championship 2021 got underway at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium on Friday.

Aiken crossed the line in 23.07 seconds to earn his 200m gold.

Letjakai Khongsai finished second (23.51 sec) and Anilkumar Irungbam (23.84) secured the third place.

S Nganthoi Devi (28.53) was fastest in the U-18 girls' 200m race as Chanchanrani M (29.93) and S Memcha (33.63) completed the podium honours.

Other top finishers on the opening day were Yaisana (U-18 girls 200m), M Devras Singh (men's hammer throw), G Holland Sharma (U-20 boys hammer throw), H Thoiba Singh (U-18 boys hammer throw), 1h Gunibala (U-18 girls hammer throw), S Laxmi (women's hammer throw), Sapam Arnold (U-18 boys 800m), RK Dayananda Meetei (U-20 boys 800m), O Sanajaoba (men's 800m).Davad (U-18 boys 200m), Nganba Khurailakpam (U20 boys 200m), Th Gunibala (U-18 girls javelin), Wahidha (women's javelin), Robertson (U-16 boys javelin), H Shitaljit (U-20 boys javelin), Th Ingocha (men's javilen), Makakmayum Khalidamastan (U-16 girls 800m), M Nijelata (U-18 girls 800m), H Bhumeshwory (U-20 girls 800m), ThTomcha (women's 800m), N John (U-16 boys 800m), L Sanajaoba (men's 5000m), T Khawang (U-20 boys 5000m), Kh Anjuna (women's 5000m), A Surbala Devi (women's triple jump), Kh Thoiba Singh (U-18 boys triple jump), N John Singh (U-20 boys triple jump), K Rameshchandra Singh (men's triple jump), Janish M (U-14 boys 600m), Ng Chengulembi (U-14 girls 600m) and Kh Mirabai (U-16 girls javelin) .
