Ward No.3 (A) , 4 (B) , 4 (A) secure wins in Kanggui Inter Ward Tourney

Kangpokppi, February 03 2018: In the second last league round of the ongoing 14th Kanggui Inter Ward Wise Tournament, 2018, Kangpokpi Ward No.3 (A) had a big 6-0 victory over Ward No.2 (B) in the first match at Brig M thomas Ground, Kangpokpi DHQs.

With its win this morning, Ward No.3 (A) enter the knockout stage from Group A while Ward No.1 (A) from the same Group could make an easy entry as Group Winner if they win their last match tomorrow.

A well formed captain of Ward No.3 (A) U thang's impressive play formation helped him found the opener in the 4 th while shattering the play formation of their opponent paving more opportunity for his teammates during the first half.

the swift movement and accurate passing of thangcha helped Lenboigin found ano ther goal in the 6 th before he struck ano ther one in the 18th minute after Manggoulun and Seiminlal struck home the ball in the 10 th and 15th minute making the score line 5-0 at the end of the first half.

tha thang's goal in the 55th minute helped Ward No.3 (A) finished the game wi th 6-0 .

In the second match, Ward No.4 (B) startlingly overwhelmed Kaybie's side Ward No.3 (B) team 4-0 who however could not make through to the knockout stage.

Lalal Sitlhou found the opener in the 12th minute before thangboi added ano ther goal in the 18th minute.

Ward No.3 (B) found more opportunities during the second half but could make only in the 37th minute through Veron Chongloi while all other chances of scoring hit the goal post twice and goal bar thrice.

Ward No.4 (B) who had a few chance made no mistake in scoring two more goals through Jangboi and Hekai in the 39th and 57th minute.

Another heated match between Ward No.10 and Ward No.4 (A) ended 2-1 in favour Ward No.4 (A) .

Despite Ward No.10 making the opening in the 5th minute through Bemthang Ward No.4 (A) found the equalizer just after two minute through Ginminlen in the 7th minute before Kaigouthang found the winning goal in the 46th minute.

In the last league round on Monday, Ward No.8 (A) will lock horn wi th Basu's side Ward No.13 in the first match at 11 am while Ward No.11 and Ward No.1 (A) will play in the second match at 12.30 pm and Ward No.2 (A) will play Ward No.5 in the third match at 2 pm.
