PCC, KSDO, SSC, AMCA enjoy easy wins in 5th MNCA U-16 Trophy

PCC, KSDO, SSC and AMCA all emerged easy winners in Saturday's fixtures of the 5th MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Singh Memorial Trophy 2024-25 .
PCC thumped YWC-L by 118 runs in their league encounter at Lairenjam Public Ground, Imphal.
A blistering 160 from Powered by Lucky Thokchom powered PCC to a challenging 232/10 in 35 overs after electing to bat.
Maverick Wakambam added 15 to their total.
In the process, they lost 3 wickets to Yumnan Sushil, 2 to Yumnam Achouba Singh, and one each to Seram Tondonsana and Daneil Seram.
PCC followed it up with a disciplined bowling display to wrap up the victory, bowling YWC out for 114 in 27.1 overs.
Ziad Khan was the standout performer with the ball, claiming 5 scalps.
Lamnganba Nongmaithem impressed with 3 wickets, while Lucky Thokchom and Leishangthem Nelson Singh added one wicket apiece.
YWC's resistance came mainly from Daneil Seram (20), Yumnam Athouba (19), and Yumnan Sushil (12), with no other batsman reaching double figures.
KSDO delivered a dominant all-round performance, defeating CDCC by a massive 210-run margin at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang).
After being put in to bat, KSDO posted an imposing 266/8 in 35 overs, with Md Washim leading the way with 74 runs, supported by Mohammed Abu Sufiyan (51), Kh Firdos (22), and Mohammed Gunbas (20) .
CDCC's bowling was led by Wasim Khan, who claimed four wickets, while Warish Khan took two, and Misbaul Haque added one.
In response, KSDO's potent bowling attack overwhelmed CDCC, dismissing them for just 56 runs in 13.5 overs.
Md Adanan Raj and Mohammed Abu Sufiyan were the chief destroyers, each taking four wickets, while Md Shadik Israak Hussain and Kh Firdos chipped in with one apiece.
Safiqur Rahman, unbeaten on 13, was CDCC's only batsman to reach double digits.
AMCA also cruised to a comfortable 7-wicket victory over RULE at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-III Cherapur, Thoubal.
Opting to field, AMCA bowled out RULE for a modest 86 in 27 overs.
Indrakumar Singh Sanjenbam (47 not out) was the lone run-getter of note in RULE'S innings plagued by six ducks.
AMCA's lethal bowling attack saw Maibam Anish and Moichingmayum Md Yakin each take three wickets, while Hanif, Thoubalmayum Mustakim, Khulakpam Fariyaz Khan, and Mayangma-yum Masut Alam each contributed a wicket.
AMCA then knocked off the target in 18.1 overs, led by Khulakpam Fariyaz Khan (29 not out) and Sangomsumpham Albash (17 not out) .
In the process, they lost three wickets to Ng Nongpoknganba, Kh Sanjaikar, and Indrakumar Singh Sanjenbam.
In another fixture in Thoubal, SSC posted a solid 63-run victory over SU.
Batting first, SSC scored 139/8 in 30 overs, thanks to contributions from Sadique (28), Anish Lasker (25 not out), and Nadir (18) .
They then restricted SU to 76 all out in 30 overs, with Nadir claiming three wickets, while Md Anash and Sadique each took one to seal the win.
