Imphal, October 28 2026: Senjam Alva scored twice yet again as Youth Welfare Club (YWC), Thambalkhong defeated DKR Football Academy 5-1 this afternoon, cementing their position at the top of the Group B table in the ongoing Indian Women's League-2 .

DKR Football Academy drew first blood, with Gooty Venkata Raja Namratha finding the target in the 35th minute.

However, YWC, who had comfortably won their previous two matches, rode on a 44th-minute header from Rosy Thanga to level the score at 1-1 just before the break.

YWC overturned the deficit immediately after the restart through Sorokhaibam Silky's 47th-minute strike.

Super-sub Senjam Alva then gave her team a comfortable two-goal cushion with a clinical finish in the 79th minute.

Herina Basumatary added a fourth in the 88th minute, marking her third goal of the tournament, to pile further pressure on DKR Football Academy.

Senjam Alva then capped off her brilliant performance by netting her second of the afternoon and fourth of the tournament one minute into stoppage time, rounding off a dominant 5-1 victory.

YWC will play Narmada Valley FC in the final Group B match on November 1 .

The match starts at 9 am .
