PTRC, SHADOW off to winning start in 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy

PTRC, Patsoi Part IV and SHADOW, Thangmeiband emerged victorious in today's matches of the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Women's One Day Trophy.
At Kongba Dhobi Lampak, PTRC hammered Al-Ameen by 157 runs to open their Group B campaign on a winning note.
PTRC, opting to bat first, gathered 247/9 in 35 overs thanks to Laishram Linthoingambi 62 off 57, Laitonjam Alina 45 off 65, Laitonjam Benita 39 not out off 39 and 76 extras before Linthoingambi (4/17 in 6 overs) led Konsam Sayatombi (2/10 in 5.3 overs) and Laitonjam Pumima (2/24) in dismantling Al-Ameen for 90 runs in 23.3 overs.
Khulem Linthoi (3/36) and Sanjida (2/59) were at the forefront of the Al-Ameen bowling department today before they had a forgettable chase as only Farhana 27 off 38 and Najiya Begum 18 off 36 emerged the only double digit run getters during the chase.
Linthoingambi was eventually declared player of the match.
Elsewhere at THAU ground, SHADOW amassed a huge total of 328 runs for 4 wickets in 35 overs courtesy of a century knock from Sapam Kebriya (143 off 118) and half century knock from Thokchom Victoria (64 off 54) before restricting PCC to 171 /5 to seal the 157 run victory.
Nongthombam Langlenthoi (3/33) managed three wickets for PCC before Okram Yashica 68 off 93 led the chase in a lost cause.
Sapam Kebriya was adjudged player of the match.
