Imphal, July 24 2022: Ihe state team bagged nine medals including five gold in the morning competition on the final day of the IMF North East Zone Climbing Competition 2022 at Guwahati.

Hijam Merina Chanu shone brightest with two gold medals after she emerged as the top finisher in both women's bouldering and lead events.

Other gold medallists were Thokchom Boynao Singh (men's open speed).

Nongdamba Yumnam (sub jr boys' bouldering) and Yumlembam Puspa Chanu (junior girls' bouldering).

On the other hand, MD Menaishin Maring one silver and one bronze medals, and Kiran I) also won a silver.

In addition to his gold.

Thokchom Boynao also took bronze medal.
