State Level Boxing C'ship : N Amarjit vs L Julet in elite men's 54 kg title clash

Imphal, November 23 2021: Nongthombam Amarjit of Bishnupur will lock horns with Thoubal's Laishram Julet in the elite men's 54 kg category title clash of the ongoing State Level Boxing Championship at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

In the first semi-final bout of the said weight category, N Amarjit thumped Ukhrul's J Thotreimu 5-0 to book the final berth.

Later in the second semi-final match, Laishram Julet saw off Kishan Singh of Kakching 3-2 .

The day also saw Laishram Phonia of Imphal East making her way to the final in the junior girls 46 kg category with a 3-2 win over Sarida Sarangthem in a semi-final bout.

In the sub-junior boys' 46 kg category competition, Dhakeshwor of Thoubal got a walk over against Imphal West's Nandeibam Bobychand and Bishnupur's Chirom Manithoi beat Samom Bikash of Kakching 4-1 to book their semi-final berths.
