UNACCO student breaks shooting record

Imphal, August 19 2024: Dhanraj Thokchom, a class VII student of UNACCO School, Meitram clinched the gold medal by scoring 369 points out of 400 to break the previous record of 322 in sub-junior boys 10 m air rifle category at the recently held 12th Imphal West District Shooting Competition.

As per a release by UNACCO School, the competition held from August 7 to 12 at Khuman Lampak Shooting Range was organised by Imphal West District Rifle Association.

By virtue of his performance, Dhanraj, son of Somorendro Thokchom and Bimola Khwairakpam, will compete in the 32nd State Level Shooting Competition currently underway at Tao-thong, Imphal West.
