All India Karate C'ship : Yaiphaba, Roshni add bronze to State's tally

Imphal, May 10 2024: Laishram Yaiphaba and Khangembam Roshni won bronze medals for Manipur in the KIO All India Karate Championship being underway at Multi Purpose Hall, Dehradun.

Yaiphaba bagged the bronze medal in the senior men's kata competition yesterday.

Yaiphaba is the son of Laishram Indra Singh and Laishram Dayapati of Malom Awang Leikai who are presently residing at Langjing Achouba.

Meanwhile, Khangembam Roshni bagged the bronze medal today in the U-21 girls -61 kg kurnite competition.

Roshni was bom to Khangembam Manipur Meitei and Khangembam Anita Leima of Saiton Salangkonjin Part II.

Both the athletes train at ISKF Kanglei Shito Ryu, Patsoi Part I under coach Renshi Soibam Bindeshori Chanu.
