KLASA FC romp, SSU bounce back in I-League 3

Imphal, September 05 2024: Keinou Library & Sports Association (KLASA FC) and Southern Sporting Union (SSU) registered wins in the I-League 3 2024-25 on Thursday.

KLASA FC delivered a resounding 8-0 victory over Bhuna Football Club in their Group D match at KASA Stadium, Diphu.

Kangabam Lanngamba Singh set the stage with a goal in the 10th minute, followed by Ngangom Ronald Singh who dpubled the lead in the 44 th minute.

After halftime, KLASA FC continued their dominance, scoring six more goals.

Prabin Khangembam ignited the second-half surge with a goal in the 53rd minute.

Dangmei Gaipuilan then made it 4-0 in the 82nd minute.

The final four goals came within a 10-minute span as Thokchom Manichand Singh scored twice (89, 90), while Ningthoujam Momocha Singh (83) and Huidrom Torres Singh (90+3) added one each.

In Group E, SSU bounced back from their earlier loss with a 2-0 victory over Corbett FC at TRC Stadium, Srinagar.

Goals from Laishram Kishan Singh (26) and Laishram Roshan Singh (78) secured the win for SSU.
