Mangaal Arambam secures two overall champion tittles

Imphal, November 19 2024:
Fitness athlete Mangaal Arambam achieved remarkable success at the WNBF Philippines 2024, held at the Central Park Hotel in Manila on November 16 and 17 .
Representing India, Mangaal secured two overall champion titles.
He claimed the gold medal in the U-75kg men's open bodybuilding category, earning the overall championship, and triumphed as the overall champion in the men's physique (170cm) category.
These victories secured him two pro-cards, bringing his career total to a record-setting six pro-cards for an Indian athlete.
Upon his return to Imphal, Mangaal was warmly welcomed at the airport by family, supporters, and bodybuilding enthusiasts.
Speaking to local media, Mangaal voiced his concerns over the recent killings in Jiribam, urging both central and state authorities to take prompt action a gainst the Kuki militants responsible for the heinous crime a gainst six victims, including three children.
Mangaal began his journey in fitness sports in 2019, under the guidance of the late Gojendro Nongmeikapam at Royal Gym, Ningomthong.
He now trains under coach Yuva Prakash in Chennai as he prepares for the upcoming ICN India - Goa Super Show 2024.The event is scheduled to take place at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium from November 29 to December 1, 2024 .
