Junior Basketball Nationals : Manipur crush ANI 62-16 to qualify for knock-out stage

Imphal, May 10 2024: Manipur overwhelmed Andaman and Nicobar Islands 62-16 today to qualify for the knock-out stage of the ongoing 74th Junior National Basketball Championship 2024 at Indore.

It was the second Group F victory for Manipur having defeated Meghalaya 62-48 in the opening match of the tournament.

Lanchenba collected a staggering total of 22 points to inspire Manipur a comprehensive win today as Telheiba (17) and Rishikanta (10) amassed 27 points.

Owen (6), Roshan (5) and Doif (2) also found their names on the scoresheet contributing 13 points to Manipur's tally.

Bihar are the only team Manipur had failed to beat in the league competition as they went down 59-77 .
