Imphal, June 26 2022: Thoubal district represented by Heirok Hr Secondary School prevailed 13-0 over Domini English School, Noney in a Group C league match of the State Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament for U-14 boys.

Konsam Sanathoi hit a double hat trick (16', 20;, 23', 29', 33', 58') and L Bikramjit netted thrice (5', 12', 31') in this very one sided encounter at Langjing Turf.

Angom Seitam (36', 37') also found the target twice as K Thoithoi (42') and L Boynao (50') added a goal apiece for the Thoubal side.

In a Group A league match staged later in the day, Ukhrul represented by Siroi Govt HS thrashed Sanatombi HS, Kakching 5-0 for the second win having beaten Chandel team in the previous match.

Worin took centre stage in this match as he scored thrice (2', 32', 36') including the opener and Rerard (11') and Leng Yoshang (16') scored a goal each.

In another Group A match staged earlier, Imphal East represented by Diana English School were held to a 1-1 draw by Chandel district team- St Peter's Hr Secondary School.

In a Group B league match, Litter Master Eng Hr Secondary School, Imphal West thumped Trinity HS, Tengnoupal 3-0 courtesy goals from L Boss (17'), H Manao (20') and Mangal (49') .

Meanwhile in a Group D league match, W John (26'), O Abinash (34') and Kh Alex (49') scored to hand Utlou HS, Bishnupur a 3-0 win over SNGCM Eng HS, Kangpokpi.

Elsewhere in the Group B league match of the U-17 boys competition held at SAI Turf Takyel, Seikhor Govt HS, Ukhrul blanked Bereasm Baptist Academy Noney 5-0 thanks to a treble from VS Thotkadhar (23', 28', 48) and after Honyochui Horam (20') opened the scoring.

Giptson Kamei also added another in the 47th minute for the winning team.

In a Group C league match, Kinship HS, Churachandpur beat the Imphal East team represented by New Era Eng School 1-0 before Education Training School, Kangpokpi edged past Wabagai Hr Secondary School, Kakching 3-1 .

In a high scoring Group A match staged latter, Kamjong Hr Secondary School demolished Senapati HS 8-1 as Yarmi Lungleng netted three goals alone (29', 46', 47') and Ningungring Shinglai scored twice (22', 35') .

Ikror Kasar (15'), Songayam Khamrang (18') and Heisem Kapai (25+1') were on target for the winning side as only Kangbi John (39') netted for the Senapati team.

In a Group A league match, CT Hr Secondary School, IW brushed aside Tengnoupal district's Aimol Khullen Jr HS by 7-1 goals.

Boynao shone in the match scoring thrice (36', 54', 56') and Kheljit (15', 60') struck twice to give the IW team a fine victory.

Monish (17') and Annaroy (44') also added a goal apiece for CT Hr Secondary School as Abednega (31') scored the lone goal for the Tengnoupal team.
