Japhou YC finish Pool B winners in Cdl 1st Divn Football tourney

Imphal, October 25 2024: Japhou YC beat SASA 1-0 for two of two Pool B win and to finish pool winners in the ongoing DC Chandel 1st Division Football League-2024 organised by DSA Chandel at Ziontlang Ground.

The lone goal that settled the game in this final Pool B match was scored by Oliver in the 26th minute.

Earlier, Japhou YC had defeated Liwa Khullen YC 2-0 in the three-team Pool B competition.

Later in a dead rubber Pool A match, Anal Khunou YC played out a 1-1 draw with Cheengkhu YC.

HL Bening scored it for Anal Khunou YC in the 17th minute before Kankhungam pulled level within two minutes.

Notably, Ziontlang YDC (7 pts off 2 wins and a draw) Khongjon YC (6 points of two wins) finished Pool A winners and runners up.
