SSU blank GSC 4-0 in 15th Manipur State League

Imphal, October 03 2022: Southern Sporting Union (SSU)-Singjamei overwhelmed Ganggam Soccer Club (GSC) 4-0 in a Group B match of the ongoing 15th Manipur State League at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

SSU started slowly and took a slender 1-0 first half lead courtesy a goal by Robinson Singh Khumukcham in the 28th minute.

After the break, Naorem Gobindash Singh put SSU 2-0 ahead of struggling GSC with a clinical finish in the 49th minute before Thounaojam Premjit further extended the lead to 3-0 with a fine shot in the 57th minute.

Laishram Kishan who substituted Thounaojam Premjit in the 82nd minute then scored SSU's fourth and final goal of the day one minute from time.
