Jump Rope: State team bag 13 gold, 6 silver, 3 bronze to emerge team champions

Imphal, January 31 2020: Manipur Jump Rope Team amassed 13 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals to earn team champions title at the 16th Senior National Jump Rope Championship 2019-20 held at Pragjyotish College Auditorium, Bharalumukh, Guwahati from January 23 to 27.Medal winners as per a press release of Spontaneous Association of Jump Rope are as follows.

Gold - Master events: Tamphasana Thingujam (below 20 years girls- single rope endurance 3 minutes event), Sangomsumpham Hena (above 20 years women- single rope endurance 3 minutes event), Thingujam Taibanganba (below 20 years boys- single rope endurance 3 minutes event), Thingujam Nganba Singh (below 20 years boys- double under 30 second event), Mohammad Mudasir (below 20 years boys- single rope freestyle event), Md Shahjahan (above 20 years men- single rope freestyle event), Muhammad Yahya Khan (above 20 years men- gold in single rope speed 30 second event & gold in single rope endurance 3 minutes event).

Silver - Master events: Sadiya ( silver in below 20 years girls- single rope speed 30 second event and single rope endurance 3 minute event), Mohammad Rezwan (above 20 years men- double under 30 sec event) Sangomsumpham Hena (below 20 years girls - double under 30 sec event), Anas Sahil Azad (above 20 years men- Triple under event).

Bronze - Master event: Gunesha (below 20 years girls- single rope speed 30 sec event), Naorem Prithviraj Singh (above 20 years boys- single rope speed 30 sec event).

Gold - Team events: Single rope relay 4x30 sec (below 20 years boys) - S Naemuddin, S Ashif, Oinam Kenio Singh, N Rajkishwor Singh.

Single rope pairs double under event (below 20 years boys) - Naorem Prithviraj Singh, Thingujam Taibanganba Singh.

Single rope pairs double under event (above 20 years men) - Mohammad Rezwan, Md Samir Khan.

Long rope speed event (below 20 years boys)- S Naemuddin, S Ashif, Oinam Kenio Singh, N Rajkishwor Singh, Mohammad Mudasir, Thingujam Nganba Singh.

Long rope speed event (above 20 years men)- Waheed Khan, Thingujam Ibomcha Singh, S Abdul Rajaque, Shaha Alam, Anas Sahil Azad, Md Shahjahan.

Silver - Team events: Single rope speed relay 4x30 sec (below 20 years girls) - Tamphasana Thingujam, Hanifa, Sabriya, Gunesha.

Bronze - Team events: Single rope speed relay 4x30 sec (above 20 years men) - Waheed Khan, Thingujam Ibomcha Singh, S Abdul Rajaque, Shah Alam.
