State team announced for National Sub-Junior and Junior Classic Powerlifting Championship 2023

Imphal, April 26 2023: The All Manipur Powerlifting Association has announced names of players selected to represent Manipur at the National Sub-Junior and Junior Classic Powerlifting Championships due to be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand from June 6 to 11 .

The players shortlisted by the All Manipur Powerlifting Association are as follows.

Sub-Junior Boys : Ningthoujam Niraj of PBBTC (53 kg), David Kapmuanlal of Infinity Gym-CCpur (59 kg), Kangabam Chinglenkhomba of PBBTC (66 kg), Keisham Albert of PBBTC (66 kg), Richard Elangbam of Mountain Gym (74 kg), Athoiba Thokchom of PBBTC (74 kg), Karishkar Kharka of PBBTC (83 kg) .

Junior Boys : Ningthoujam Rahul of PBBTC (53 kg), Pauginsang Khongsai of Infinity Gym (59 kg), Thokchom Bidyabuson of PBBTC (59 kg), Hanjabam Hritikraj of PBBTC (66 kg), Ningthoujam Monish of Radiant Fitness ( 66 kg), Ningthoujam Monish of PBBTC (74 kg), Tensubam Jestin of PBBTC (83 kg) .

Sub-Junior Girls : Henthoihenbi Laishram of PBBTC (47 kg), Princy Khumujam of PBBTC (52 kg), Mariana Khumujam of PBBTC (52 kg), Lanthoibi Thokchom of PBBTC (57 kg), Sarjubala Sagolshem of PBBTC (63 kg), Apilee Ingudam of PBBTC (69 kg), B Nimi Chanu of PBBTC (76 kg) and Silky Thangjam of PBBTC (+84 kg) .

Junior Girls
Bebesana Waikhom of PBBTC (43 kg), Ranisana Waikhom of PBBTC (43), Elangbam Lenthoingambi Chanu of PBBTC (47 kg), Nenghoikim Haokip of Infinity Gym (52 kg), Thokchom Gamma Chanu of PBBTC (52 kg), Ngangranabi Thokchom of PBBTC (57 kg), Alvana Moirangthem of PBBTC (63 kg) and Jessica Chabungbam of PBBTC (69 kg) .

Along with the players, four team officials including Naorem Sushibala (National Referee Category 1), Konsam Rosida (team coach), Oinam Sanatombi (women's team manager) and Khumanthem Sayarani (men's team manager) were also announced.
