State rowing team leave Imphal for Inter State Challenger and Sub-Jr National Championships

Imphal, June 16 2022: A strong 37-member State rowing contingent was flagged off today by Manipur Rowing Association for the 5th Inter State Challenger National Championship and 23rd Sub-Junior National Rowing Championship to be held at Dal Lake, Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir from June 20 to 26 .

The paddlers who will be representing Manipur in the Sub-junior teams are - L Target, Y Roshan, Y Munal, H Priyobarta, N Ronaldo, N Hansamboy, S Abhinash, RK Ashajit, W Tennyson, Goba Yumnam H Malemyaima , O Bharati, H Kabita and A Pushpa.

The teams were led by K Premchandra Singh as coach and Raj Kumar Singhajit Singh as manager.

Meanwhile, the paddlers who will be competing in the challenger Nationals are- Th Thoungamba, Akshay, Hari Ram, Gyangeet Laishram, K Ibosana, A Kirankumar, P Sanathoi, T Motilal, Y Ajit, N Priya, Kalpana Athokpam, Kh Naobi, M Neha, Y Chengloulembi, K Sanjana, Rebina Laikhuram, Meerabai Athokpam,Y Priyanka and Y Sushila.

Y Sanjabihari and Kh Nganba Meitei are team manager and coach respectively who are leading the challenger teams.
