Imphal, May 14 2024: 22 teams are in the fray for the title of the 1 st MNCA U-23 H Biramangol Singh Memorial Tournament beginning May 17 in four different venues.

The tournament whose matches will be hosted at Lairenjam Public Ground, Moijing Public Ground, Khangabok Public Ground and Model Hr Secondary School and Oriental College Ground will see 22 teams clubbed into four groups compete for top two positions to qualify for the quarters.

ESU-Wangkhei, KSDO-Kyamgei, PTRC-Patsoi Part IV, RCA-Lilong, RULE-Meitram and TRAU-Kwakeithel are clustered in Group A while Al-Ameen-Lilong, Model Club-Chingamakha, PCC-Mayaikoibi, TCMDC-Thongju, THAU-Thangmeiband and YWC-Langthabal are drawn together in Group B .

The Group C in the meantime hosts AKSDO-Khangabok, IBSA-Yumnam Leikai, REYS-Nagamapal, SCCC-Singjamei and YUCC-Kwakeithel Moirangpurel Leikai as the Group D features CRAU-Khamnam Bazar, CYCLONE-Thangmeiband, KASC-Khomidok, PTCC-Patsoi Part III and YPHUC-Lalambung.

The opening day will see TCMDC take on Model Club at Lairenjam Public Ground, REYS play YUCC at Moijing Public Ground and PTCC face CYCLONE at Khangabok Public Ground.
