Imphal, August 10 2025: Victoria Ply FC were crowned champions of the 1 st KFC Trophy, a 9-A-Side Football Tournament organised in memory of the Th Angangmacha and Th Tombi Devi in Kyamgei.

Victoria Ply FC defeated hosts KFC by 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the regulation time to seal the title of the tournament.

Sadananada (1'), Sagar (50') and L Bikram (60') were target during the regulation time for KFC as Thoiba (6') and Sumit (38') scored for Victoria Ply FC before Nanao of KFC conceded an own goal in the 53rd minute.

In the shoot-out, only Johnson and Krishnananda found the target for KFC as Thoiba, Sumit, Roshan and Tondonba found the target to earn Victoria Ply FC the final victory.

The prize distribution function was attended by Thokchom Satyabrata, Speaker Manipur Legislative Assembly as the chief guest; Lourembam Rameshor, MLA KeiraoAC as functional president; Dr Y Radheshyam, MLA Hiyanglam AC; Th Radheshyam, MLA Heirok AC; Kh Loken, MLA Wangoi AC; Thangjam Arunkumar, MLA Wangkhei AC and Paonam Brojen, MLA Wangjing Tentha AC as the guests of honour.
