Koren Youth Organisation greets MFN champ Chungreng Koren

Imphal, September 01 2024: Koren (Koireng) Youth Organisation (KYO), Manipur has congratulated Chungreng Koren on winning the Matrix Fight Night Bantamweight title in the main event held last night at Noida Indoor Stadium.

Chungreng, who became the interim bantamweight champion at MFC 14, won by technical knockout (TKO) in the second round against his rival Kantharaj Agasa to seal the bantamweight title yesterday, said KYO in a congratulatory note issued today.

The victory of Chungreng Koren, who belongs to the Koireng tribe and a poor family from Kamu Koireng village, has brought pride to the State and North East India, said KYO.

Saying that his hard work, firm determination, dedication and sacrifices have led him to the victory, noted KYO.

Urging the State Government and authorities concerned to extend possible help to the promising mixed martial artist, KYO also extended best wishes in his future endeavours.
