26th Winners' Cup: GDC, RRFC, KFA in quarters

Royal Rangers FC (RRFC)-Senapati seal a 2-0 away win against YDC Khoirom-Thoubal at the latter club's ground fora4-2 aggregate win in the 26th Thangjam Birchandra-Maipakpi Memorial Winners' Cup 2022-23 .
RRFC were held to a 2-2 draw by visiting YDC at Artificial Turf Ground.
RRFC earned the 4-2 aggregate win today thanks to goals from W Mathuhema (25') and Walo (78') .
They will play the Ground Development Committee (GDC)- Bishnupur who pulled off a 4-2 aggregate win with a 3-1 beating of G Songgel Youth Club (GYSC)-Lonpi at DFA Lonpi ground today.
Having settled their first leg in a 1-1 draw, GSYC opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Seikhohao Lhungdim at their home ground to keep their quarter final hopes alive.
GDC however pulled back two goals through Ningthoujam Arbin (30') and Heisnam Michael (43') to turn things around and make it 2-1 at the break.
With GSYC unable to make the most of their second half chances, GDC added up one more goal courtesy Pukhrambam Anand (78') to seal a 3-land earn a 4-2 aggregate win.
Elsewhere at Sekmai Kangjeibung, visiting Kuki Football Academy (KFA) eased to a 3-0 win over hosts Sekmai Kangjeibung Youth Club (SKYC) for a 3-0 aggregate finish.
The first half ended goalless but the visitors surged ahead after the break with Lengousem Sailo converting a penalty in the 47th minute before Lunginthang Kipgen doubled the advantage in the 65th minute.
SKYC slumped further with KFA scoring their third in the 75th minute through Kaikhokam Guite and eventually KFA held on to their comfortable lead to set up a quarter final date with YWU-Kakching.
