Stage set for quarter finals of NCK Inter Village Volleyball

Imphal, April 30 2022: The quarter final line up of the 2nd Men's Open Inter Village Volleyball Tournament organised by Naharol Club Kangmong (NCK) has been completed.

The last day of the league round competition witnessed UNT, Top Siphai; HVA, Heigrujam; SYC, Satudai; NYVA, Naorem and MIKHYA, Mayang Imphal registering wins against their respective rivals.

In a Group B league match, UNT handed NCK-B, Kangmong 25-11 25-14 25-15 defeat for the second win and confirmed their place in the quarter finals.

HVA, Heigrujam then capped the Group C campaign with three wins on the trot as they beat SDC, Samurou 25-19 25-17 25-23 .

In another Group C league match, NYVA beat MCK, Kabowakching 25-17 22-25 25-17 25-18 .

In the meantime, SYC confirmed their place in the quarter finals from Group A beating TYWC, Thamnapoki 25-20, 25-6, 25-13 for the second win in three matches.

Elsewhere in a Group D league match, MIKHYA completed the league treble beating KYLSC 25-23 25-16 13-25 24-26 15-16 in a see-saw encounter to finish Group winners.
