Imphal, August 29: The 13th State Level Wushu Championships 2008 organised by Wushu Association of Manipur commenced from today at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium with 250 players from eight units competing for top honours.

The inaugural programme was held with MLA K Meghachandra, manipur Olympic Association president E Binoykumar and Associate Joint Secretary of MOA Kulwant Singh Cheema as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
