3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy: Naesh Hussain scores double century as RCA cruise to fourth win on trot

RCA, Lilong rode on Naesh Hussain's double century to crush SU, Sagolband by 309 runs and seal their fourth Group D win in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-19 Men's One Day Trophy.
RCA racked up a commanding total of 366 at Moijing Public Ground despite losing all the wickets in 34.4 overs as Naesh Hussain clobbered 17 fours and 17 sixes on the way to his 96-ball 201 and Md Alfash struck 11 fours and 1 six to add 63 off 37 balls.
RCA then rode on Zamir Khan's fifer (5/25 in 6.3 overs) and Zuned's four wicket haul (4/24 in 7 overs) to dismantle SU for just 57 runs in 16.3 overs to seal the huge 309-run victory.
Keisham Yaikhomba (4/65 in 4.4 overs), Keisham David (3/82) and Keisham Anderson (2/44) shared a bulk of 8 wickets for SU earlier in the first innings before K David emerged the only double digit run getter on 18 runs.
Naesh who hit double century and picked a wicket to aid Zamir and Zuned in dismantling SU line up was adjudged player of the match.
The day also saw AMCA, Thoubal and YWC, Langthabal secure third victories in four matches to go top of Group A and Group E respectively.
In the Group A match staged at Lairenjam Public Ground, AMCA won by 7 runs as they defended their total of 157/10 (in 39.5 overs) by bowling out CYCLONE, Thangmeiband for 150 runs in 29.4 overs.
SS Albash 35 off 77 and Md Sarif 31 off 52 led the scoring for AMCA before they collapsed at 157 as Reolin Oinam enjoyed a fifer (5/38) and S Robinson (2/24) picked two wickets for CYCLONE to disrupt the innings.
In reply, CYCLONE slumped to 150 all out despite sensible knocks from M Thomsan 40 off 42 and S Robinson 47 off 74 as Kh Sahid (3/19), Md Yakin (3/24) and Thoubalmayum Mustakim (2/31) reigned supreme with their bowlings for AMCA .
In the Group B match staged at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, Model Club beat THAU, Thangmeiband by 139 runs for the second straight victory.
Elsewhere at Khudeiband Lampak, YWC, Langthabal crushed SSC, Porompat by 347 runs.
Sorokhaibam Thoungamba 86 off 75; Yumnam Sushil 73 off 33; Yumnam Kumar 63 off 60 inspired YWC a huge total of 371 runs for 7 wickets before bundling out SSC, Porompat for 24 runs in 11.1 overs courtesy of Pukhrambam Roshan (5/4 in 5 overs) and Yumnam Athouba (4/19 in 6 overs) .
S Thoungamba was adjudged player of the match.
