Imphal, January 27, 2011: Leaders TRAU, Kwakeithel salvaged a point against AIM, Khabam after a 1-1 draw in a second leg match of the 5th Manipur State League football tournament.

In the other second leg match played today at Khuman Lampak, ESU (Wangkhei) rallied to defeat USA, Khurai 2-1 after Y Jackey provided the breakthrough for the latter in the 54th minute.

S deepak restored parity for ESU in the 69th minute before H Johnson netted the winner in the 75th minute.

The first leg match between the two had ended in a goalless draw.

Meanwhile, inspite of the 1-1 draw between TRAU and AIM, the former, with two matches remaining, continue to occupy the top spot in the points standing at 46 and are on their way to clinch the title of the fifth edition of the competition as nearest opponent MPSC is on 41 points.

AIM took the lead on Kh Naoton's 39th minute strike with the TRAU equaliser coming in the 73rd minute through S Herojit.

The first leg match had ended in a goalless draw.
