Imphal, December 20 2024: YAC, Yaiskul and IBSA, Yumnam Leikai emerged victorious in today's matches of the ongoing 9th MNCA Plate Tournament 2024-25.YAC, Yaiskul defeated KIYC, Kshetrigao today by 6 wickets for their fourth group B league stage victory in five matches by chasing down a target of 132 runs in 17.4 overs after Indrakumar Wayenbam played a crucial role in dismantling toss winners KIYC at Lairenjam Public Ground.

Akip Zensi starred with a 55-ball 61 for KIYC after the opted to bat first as Indrakumar picked 4 wickets for 19 runs in his spell of 5 overs.

Oinam Kiran, Bhopendra Mangang, Priyokumar Laishram, Abocha Laishram and Ng Joychandra also picked a wicket apiece for YAC.

YAC then rode on Nehru Thokchom 36, O Kishan 32 not out, Bhopendra 26 and Amit 16 to seal the victory in 17.4 overs.

Md Abdulla Khan picked two wickets for KIYC as A Mangesh and Saddam claimed a wicket apiece.

Indrakumar of YAC was declared man of the match.

Meanwhile in a Group A clash staged at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, IBSA pulled off a 50 run victory against MPA, Thounaojam for the third win in 5 matches.

IBSA opted to bat first but were dismissed for 138 runs despite Subhas Khundrakpam's 50-ball 63 as Yumnam Sheiteendra (4/20), Vivekraj Chabungbam (3/13) and Huidrom Dhanashyam (3/39) wreaked havoc.

The low total however proved too big as MPA slumped to 88 all out as Pravesh (4/18) and Yengkhom Bhomendro (3/ 11) overhauled MPA's bowling performance.

James Awang and Boney Potsangbam also chipped in a wicket apiece for IBSA in an innings that saw only Huidrom Dhanashyam 30 and Lucky Elangbam 22 registering double digit scores.

Subhas Khundrakpam who topscored for IBSA was declared man of the match.
