3rd Paona Memorial Football : EEO-B beat 15 Brothers 2-0, Yairipok FC hold Ibosana FC

Imphal, August 19 2024: Hosts EEO-B, Lamding thumped 15 Brothers, Sangaiyumpham 2-0 as Yairipok FC fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Ibosana FC in the ongoing 3rd Paona Memorial 9-A-Side Football Tournament.

In the second Group B match and tourney's fifth, Rajboy (21') and Hemlet (48') scored a goal apiece to set up 2-0 win for EEO-B against 15 Brothers.

In the Group C opening match staged earlier, L Didarson scored in the 5th minute to earn Ibosana FC an early lead but Jahir scored the equaliser for Yairipok FC.

Despite efforts from both sides to find the winner, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

The third match of the tournament supposed to be played between COBRA FC, Moreh and Wangjing United saw the Wangjing side not turning up.

Aug 20 matches : YVA vs LMT FC from 1.30 pm; Charan FC vs YAISA from 2.30 pm; Moreh FC vs PSWAS from 3.30 pm .
