STC Imphal emerge team event winners in All India Inter SAI Sepak Takraw Tournament

Imphal, February 18 2023: SAI STC-Imphal emerged men's team champions in the All India Inter SAI Sepak Takraw Tournament hosted by SAI NERC Imphal at SAI-STC Indoor Hall of Khuman Lampak from today.

The inaugural function was attended by T Phulen, Director YAS; Lianminthang Regional Director I/C, SAI NERC Imphal; L Ibomcha, Deputy Director SAI STC among others as dignitaries.

SAI STC Imphal team emerged champions after round robin league competition.

They defeated SAI-STC Dimapur 3-0, STC Bareily 3-0 and STC Delhi 3-0 to seal the top honour as STC Bareily finished runners up with 3-0 wins for STC Delhi and STC Dimapur.

In the two team junior women's regu event, SAI STC Imphal defeated STC Bareilly 21-10, 21-7 to seal the top honour before sealing the quad event title as well with a 21-10, 21-16 win.
