Thoubal District Open Football Tournament draws to a dose

Thoubal, September 13 2021: The much-delayed final match of Thoubal District Open Prize Football Tournament 2014 organised by Khetrileikai Rising Club, Thoubal was played on Monday between LUCKY FC, Tekcham and HISU Thoubal which the latter won 1-0 .

The only goal of the final was scored by Loyangamba in the 83rd minute.

The closing programme of the tournament was attended by Wangkhem MLA K Meghachandra, Khangabok MLA O Surjakumar and Thoubal MC Ward No 4 former councillor P Jotte as presidium members.

The dignitaries handed over the trophy and cash prize of Rs 20,000 to champions HISU and Rs 10,000 to runners up LUCKY FC, Tekcham.
