Khongman Fencing Academy win 2nd Imphal East District Level Fencing Championship

Imphal, June 13 2024: Khongman Fencing Academy has emerged overall team champion of the 2nd Imphal East District Level Fencing Championship 2024 at Khuman Lampak.

While it was also judged the winners in both the boys and girls' categories, Khongman Fencing Academy bagged 12 gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze to win the overall title and win Atom Ibomcha Meitei Overall Trophy, donated by Atom Chitaranjan Meitei.

For winning the overall boys category, Khongman Fencing Academy bagged Wahengbam Kulla Singh & Wahengbam (O) Apabi Overall Boys Trophy, donated by W Romendrajit Singh.

It also bagged the Wakambam Ranjit Singh Overall Girls Trophy, donated by Wakambam Joyson.

In the boys' category, Khongman Fencing Academy amassed 5 gold, 4 silver and 10 bronze.

In the girls' category, it bagged 7 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze.

Senior Men (Epee)

On the final day of the events in senior men's category Epee, G Bivekar of MIIS won the gold medal.

K Kane of YDO won silver, and W Nikash of SWC and Tondonsana NK of KHFA won bronze.
