12th World Bodybuilding C'ship : Karishma finishes second in women's open bodybuilding

Imphal, October 06 2021: Manipur's Karishma Chanu finished second in the women's open bodybuilding category as Joydev Thongam secured fourth place in the junior men's open bodybuilding category at the 12th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2021 which is underway at Tashkent, Uzbekistan since October 3 .

Yuvraj Sonar and Yumnam Manisana of Manipur too represented India as athletes at the championship which will culminate on October 8, said a statement of the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) .

N Kishan Singh also participated at the world event as an official, the statement continued.
