Army organises Kwakta football tourney in Bishnupur

Imphal, February 02 2025: The 1st edition of the Kwakta Football Tournament, organised by the Indian Army, concluded on Sunday at Kwakta Football Ground, Bishnupur district.

In the final match, Kwakta Ward 6 defeated Kwakta Ward 7 .

Jahir of Ward 6 scored the most number of goals and was awarded the golden boot, while Samir of Ward 7 was awarded the golden glove for being the best goalkeeper.

Player of the tournament was awarded to Arif of Ward 6.All the awardees were awarded with trophies and gift hampers for their performances.

The closing ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances.
