43rd batch of RCC Programme to commence on April 1

Imphal, February 19 2025: The Directorate of Youth Affairs & Sports, Manipur, has announced the commencement of the 43rd batch of its six-month Regular Coaching Centre (RCC) Programme, scheduled to run from April 1 to September 30, 2025, to train young athletes across 24 sports disciplines.

The sports disciplines include athletics, archery, swimming, boxing, football, basketball, thang-ta, wushu (sanda & taolu), sepaktakraw, and bodybuilding (open age category) .

Age eligibility varies per sport, with most disciplines open to children and youth aged 6-18 years.

Exceptions include shooting (11-25 years) and weightlifting (10-21 years).

All sports are open to both boys and girls, except gymnastics, which has separate age brackets for girls (6-8 years) and boys (6-10 years).

Prospective participants can collect fresh and renewal admission forms from the Directorate's office (10:31 am - 3:30 pm) or designated RCC venues (6:30 am - 8 am) on working days.

Forms will be available starting February 20, 2025, with a submission deadline of March 20, 2025 .
