Thoubal, August 05 2022: Two young karatekas of Tala Shito-Riyu Karate-Do Academy, Shikhong Bazar Branch, who won two gold medals and a silver medal at the 6th International Karate Championship-2022 held at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, West Bengal on July 30 and 31 were felicitated on Thursday.

The medallists are Yumkhaibam Rabison, son of Y Ibomcha and Y Memtombi, who won a gold medal each in Kata and Kumite in boy's 6-year category and Oinam Nungshithoi, daughter of O Henthoi Singh and O Kananbala, a silver medallist in girl's 7-year category of Kata competition.

After their arrival with their coach Chakpram Raju Singh in Imphal on Thursday, a felicitation programme was held for them by elders, locals and Shikhong Bazar Branch officials.
