SSU to conduct two-day U-19 football trials

Imphal, February 19 2025: Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Singjamei, is set to organise two-day under-19 football trials from February 23 to 24, 2025, at SWC Football Ground, Atom Leirak, Khongman Zone-IV, Imphal East.

According to SSU, the trials aim to identify and prepare players for the under-19 team in accordance with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) guidelines for age-group teams.

Experienced coaches will oversee the selection process, including Khangembam Inaocha Singh (AFC Level-C, 2), Nameirakpam Bikash Singh (AFC Level-C, 3), and Salam Dinakumar Singh (AIFF Level-D).

Eligible players born between March 1, 2006, and December 31, 2008, are invited to participate.

Interested candidates must register by February 22, 2025, by contacting the U-19 secretary/manager at the SSU office in Singjamei, Kakwa Bazar, Imphal.

On the day of the trials, players must report to the SSU manager at the SWC Football Ground on Sunday, February 23, 2025, before 8 am, in full playing kit.

Participants are required to carry the following documents for verification: birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and matric-ulation/school certificate.
