District Bar Association, District & Sessions Court staff play friendly football match

Senapati, February 19 2025: Senapati District Bar Association, in collaboration with the staff of District & Sessions Court, Senapati, organised a friendly football match at Emesiiphro Football Turf on Wednesday.

The event was inaugurated and officially kicked off by Lamkholal Kip-gen, District & Sessions Judge, Senapati, who attended as the special guest.

The match was cheered and enthusiastically supported by Koshia Mao, public prosecutor District & Sessions Court; Heni Ahrai, advisor to the District Bar Association; and president Adani Komuo Mao, who also actively participated in the game.

Both teams demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and skill, resulting in a thrilling contest that concluded in an 8-8 draw.

The primary objective of the match was to foster camaraderie among legal professionals and promote a collegial work environment through sports.

Following the game, participants gathered for a feast at the Court complex.

According to a representative of the Bar Association, the event was organised as a recreational and fitness activity to provide respite from the demanding court schedule.
