Manipur finish second in men's team event at Sepaktakraw nationals

Imphal, October 18 2022: Manipur faltered in the final of the men's team competition of the 32nd Senior National Sepaktakraw Championship 2022 at Kolkata, while both men's and women's teams advanced to the quarterfinals of the Regu event.

Manipur finished runners-up in the men's team event after losing 0-2 to SSB in their title clash on late Monday night.

Meanwhile, the state men's and women's teams booked quarterfinal berths in the Regu event of the championship on Tuesday.

The men's team defeated Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Telangana, all by an identical 2-0 margin, to earn their passage to the last eight.

The state eves, on the other hand, ensured their place in the quarterfinals after securing victories against ut-tarkhand, Gujarat, Goa and Andhra Pradesh.
